Cyclone water separator “IWAKO”
Cyclone water separator “IWAKO” is a type of hydrocyclone that uses centrifugal force to separate water from other liquids or solids. The mixture is fed tangentially into the cylindrical section of the cyclone, creating a spiral flow. As the mixture flows through the cyclone, the centrifugal force generated by the swirling motion causes the denser particles to be forced outwards towards the wall of the cyclone.
The separated water is directed upwards through the central vortex finder and discharged through the overflow outlet. The remaining mixture, containing the heavier particles, is collected at the bottom of the cyclone and discharged.Cyclone water separators are commonly used in industrial applications, such as oil and gas production, to separate water from oil or other liquids before further processing. They can also be used in wastewater treatment to separate solids from liquids before further treatment.
